Trombonists
For the past couple of years, Martini Max and the Swing Kats has
had difficulty keeping a steady trombone player. In the spring
and summer of 2000, Dane Clum, the original trombonist, was unable
to keep his steady commitment to the band. Justin Kirkpatrick
of the ska band Solemite, filled in for several shows during this
time. Dane returned to his place for the 2000 holiday season,
but again was unable to play in the summer of 2001. This time,
Robert Lee, recently of Taiwan, played for MMSK all summer. Who
will be the next MMSK trombonist? Only time will tell. Future
shows may possibly feature Dane Clum, Robert Lee, or someone new.
